On the River is the culmination of a conversation between a couple guys who wanted to host an outdoor summer bash for their friends. As the vision grew, these guys teamed up with the Young Professionals Against Poverty to organize a party to benefit the Center for the Homeless.
On the River is being held outdoors in downtown South Bend on Colfax Avenue at the St. Joseph River across from the Commerce Center. Click here to download the site plan to put the location into perspective.
The event will be from 6:00PM – 11:00PM on Friday, August 6 and from 11:00AM – 11:00PM on Saturday, August 7. Check out the tickets page for cost of admission.
Practically the entire party site will be comprised of sand and decorated accordingly, giving the event that authentic beach feel – so don’t forget your sandals & Hawaiian shirts!
